Cat Cocos now operates five modern high-speed ferries between the paradise islands of Mahe, Praslin and La Digue. The journey time from Mahe to Praslin is only 65-75 minutes, depending on sea conditions. For those travelling from Mahe to La Digue, there is usually a short 15-30 minute stopover at Praslin before the ferry continues to La Digue, only 15 minutes away.
All Cat Cocos ferries arrive and depart from the ERO Passenger Terminal at the Praslin Jetty in Baie Ste. Anne. When travelling from Mahe to Praslin or La Digue, the Cat Cocos ferry departs Mahe from the Inter Island Quay in Victoria.

Just as on its other vessels – Isle of Praslin & Isle of La Digue – Cat Cocos offers passengers a choice of comfort and service with both Economy and Business class cabins. Economy class passengers can travel inside on the main air-conditioned deck – Coco de Mer Cabin – or outside on the Island Hopper Upper Deck, with stunning views and sea breezes. For those looking for even greater comfort, Business Class passengers can enjoy the All Inclusive* service of the Lazio Lounge.
All Cat Cocos passengers are eligible to make use of the shared shuttle bus transfer service between the Mahe, Praslin and La Digue ferry jetties and the airport and/or hotels (fees apply). Buses from Mahe Airport leave no later than 1 hour before the scheduled ferry departure time.
Hotel pick-ups vary between 45-90 minutes before departure, depending on which island you're staying on and the distance from your hotel to the jetty. For airport or hotel drop-offs, the buses leave the jetty after each ferry's arrival.
Luggage Allowances
Each fare-paying passenger is permitted 1 piece of carry-on/cabin baggage not exceeding 7kg with maximum dimensions of 50cm X 30 cm X 20cm. Any cabin baggage above this size will be considered checked baggage and stowed in the cargo compartment.
- Economy Class - Maximum allowance = 25kg
- Business Class - Maximum allowance = 30kg

- The price of a ferry ticket from Mahe to Praslin is €60 (one-way) for adults (Main Inside Cabin) and €30 (one-way) for children aged 2 to 11 years.
- You can upgrade to the Upper Outside Deck for an additional €6 per adult/child or to Business Class for an extra €24 per adult and €18 per child.
- An additional Port Fee of €2 (one-way) will be added to each adult ticket. Children and Infants are exempt.
- Return tickets between Mahe and Praslin start from €120 for adults and €60 for children aged 2-11 years.
