From their base at the new Praslin jetty, Inter Island Ferry Seychelles - also known locally as Cat Rose's - operates a regular fast ferry service to and from the idyllic island of La Digue. Their three high-speed catamarans - Cat Rose's I & II & III - make light work of the journey, whisking you in comfort between the islands in just 15 minutes!

Praslin to La Digue
With up to 6 departures daily, getting from Praslin to La Digue is easy with Inter Island Ferry. From humble beginnings, with only a 30-passenger schooner, Inter Island Ferry now boasts three high-speed catamarans - Cat Rose's, Cat Rose's II and Cat Rose's III- carrying up to 199 passengers at a time.
Leaving from the new Praslin jetty (ERO Passenger Terminal) in Baie Sainte Anne, and with a broad range of departure times, it's easy to plan your day trip to La Digue's world-famous beaches. And for those with a little more time, why not plan a longer stay and take in the laid-back island vibe that's making La Digue increasingly more popular.
Inter Island Ferry Praslin La Digue is a family-run business with Mr William Rose at the helm. Growing up navigating the waters of the Inner Islands, he started ferrying passengers between Praslin and La Digue at an early age. Now, some 40 years on, he proudly operates a fleet of modern high-speed catamarans as well as the wooden schooner - Curieuse - which can carry up to 90 passengers.

Check-in procedure
Passengers must arrive at the jetty (Baie Sainte Anne, Praslin or La Passe, La Digue) at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

The Inter Island Ferry (Cat Rose's) Praslin office is located at the new ERO Passenger Terminal, which is situated on Kato Nwanr Island, Baie Ste. Anne, at the junction of the Vallee de Mai and Baie Ste Anne roads.
- The Inter Island Ferry La Digue office is located in the Seychelles Port Building in La Passe. This is where you need to check in and present a printed copy of your e-ticket.

Simply take a printed copy* of your Seychellesbookings e-ticket to the Inter Island Ferry counter and exchange it for your Boarding Pass. Please note that only passengers possessing an Inter Island Ferry boarding pass will be permitted to board the vessel.
Inter Island Ferry will NOT accept digital copies of e-tickets displayed on mobile devices. A printed copy must be presented at check-in.
Should you not have access to a printer, you must at least be able to provide your BOOKING REFERENCE NUMBER and FULL NAME to the check-in clerk.
FAILURE TO PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION WILL RESULT IN BOARDING BEING DENIED WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF A REFUND!

Luggage Allowance
Each passenger is allowed to carry one small hand-held item of carry-on/cabin baggage as well as up to 30kg of accompanied baggage, which should be of a reasonable size.
Any luggage deemed too large or in excess of the free baggage allowance will be subject to an excess fee.

Re-confirmation
Schedules are subject to change without notice. It is therefore recommended that passengers re-confirm their reservations 72 hours before departure.
Cancellations
All Inter Island Ferry (Cat Rose's) ferry bookings cancelled more than 48 hours before departure (in writing) will receive a full refund, paid directly from Seychellesbookings.com (minus any charges applied to make the refund); administration and cancellation charges applied to all cancellations will be equivalent to 10% of the amount being refunded.
For cancellations within 48 hours of departure and No-Shows*, tickets are 100% non-refundable, although one free date/time change may still be possible, subject to availability. Contact information can be found on your e-ticket.

Passengers travelling on the Inter Island ferry can now book affordable Shared Shuttle Bus Transfers between Praslin Jetty and Praslin Airport or any hotel on the island. Additionally, shared bus transfers are available between La Digue Jetty and La Digue Heliport or any hotel on La Digue.
To Praslin Airport
- The shuttle bus leaves the jetty immediately after the ferry arrives, once all transferring passengers have collected their baggage.
- Only book this service if your flight departs at least 2 hours after the scheduled ferry arrival time.
- One-way Airport to Jetty: Adult: €14 / Child: €7 / Infant: No charge.
From Praslin Airport

How much does it cost to ride the Cat Rose ferry?
A Cat Rose ferry ticket from Praslin to La Digue or vice versa costs:
- €15 (one-way) per adult and €7 (one-way) per child (2-11yrs incl.)
- Infants less than 2 years of age travel for free!
- Port Tax: €1 (one-way) applies to adults only
The cost of a round-trip ticket is simply double the price of a one-way ticket.

How long does it take to travel between Praslin and La Digue on the Cat Rose ferry?
The journey time from Praslin to La Digue is 15 minutes with Cat Rose Inter Island Ferry.
The Cat Rose ferry departs Praslin from the new ERO Passenger Terminal in Baie Ste. Anne. It's then a short, enjoyable 15-minute ride across to La Digue, where the ferry arrives in the La Digue Ferry Harbour in La Passe.
