Booking your Praslin to Mahe Ferry Tickets
Using the Search Box, you can book Praslin to Mahe tickets aboard one of the Cat Cocos high-speed catamarans. Like the rest of its fleet, the Isle of Mahe Ferry, with its 400 seats, can carry passengers in both Economy and Business Class cabins.
Cat Cocos Economy passengers can choose to travel in the fully airconditioned Main Inside Cabin (222 seats) or the spacious Upper Outside Deck (143 seats), offering spectacular views along the way. A dedicated Business Class Lounge is also available with 23 comfortable, reclining seats for increased comfort and service.
Boarding Process
All passengers travelling to/from Praslin by ferry must now use the new ERO Passenger Terminal in Baie Ste. Anne. For Mahe-bound passengers arriving on the La Digue to Praslin ferry, it's easy to transfer from the Cat Rose ferry to a Cat Cocos Praslin to Mahe ferry, as the vessels are often moored next to each other.
You should arrive at the Praslin Jetty at least 30 minutes before departure to allow sufficient time to check in any baggage. Approximately 24-48 hours before departure, a digital Boarding Pass will be sent to you by email. If you don't have a boarding pass when you get to the jetty, visit the Creole Travel Services jetty office for assistance. Boarding starts 30 minutes prior to departure and ends when the Boarding Gate closes 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Baggage Allowance
All Cat Cocos passengers can bring one carry-on item no heavier than 7kg with maximum dimensions of 50cm X 30 cm X 20cm. Any items bigger than this will be considered 'checked baggage' and stowed accordingly.
- Economy Class: Maximum allowance = 25kg
- Business Class: Maximum allowance = 30kg
As long as the total weight does not exceed the maximum allowance, multiple bags are permitted. Excess Luggage will be charged at €3.00 per kilo.
Hotel and Airport Transfers
Shared shuttle bus transfers to the Praslin jetty from your accommodation can be rebooked when purchasing your Cat Cocos ferry tickets through us (transfer fees apply).
Airport Transfers are available on arrival in Mahe to Seychelles International Airport for just €10 per person. The shuttle buses depart the jetty immediately after each ferry arrival once all transferring passengers have disembarked and collected their luggage.
If not going to the airport, you can book a Shuttle Bus transfer to your Mahe hotel or resort. The buses also depart after each ferry arrival and cost €14 per person, which is often cheaper than a taxi!
Aside from being home to the nation's capital, Victoria, there's plenty to see and do on Mahe; from its lush, mountainous interior to its palm-fringed, white sandy beaches, Mahe is a true tropical getaway.

- The price of a ferry ticket from Praslin to Mahe is €60 (one-way) for adults (Main Inside Cabin) and €30 (one-way) for children aged 2 to 11 years.
