Taking the Cat Rose - Inter Island Ferry is the most popular way of getting from Praslin to La Digue. With up to six departures a day, finding a departure time that suits your itinerary is easy. All Cat Rose ferries depart from Praslin's new ERO Passenger Terminal in Baie Ste. Anne, which is situated on the east of the island. Check in at least 30 minutes before departure at the Cat Rose office.

Travel in comfort from Praslin to La Digue aboard Cat Rose III - the newest addition to the Cat Rose Ferry fleet. Carrying up to 200 passengers, it offers a fully air-conditioned inside cabin with 115 seats and a panoramic outdoor upper deck with 55 seats. Once onboard, sit back, relax, and enjoy the stunning views. The Cat Rose ferry journey from Praslin to La Digue takes just 15 minutes. Ferries arrive at the La Digue Harbour in La Passe, the island's main centre. Taxis, bicycle rentals and hotel shuttle transfers are available upon arrival.

Of course, passengers needing to travel to Praslin earlier or with onward connections to Mahe have a choice of departure times throughout the day.

Check in at the Cat Rose (Inter Island Ferry) office in the Seychelles Port Building at least 30 minutes before departure. After receiving your Boarding Pass, you can head down the jetty to board one of their high-speed catamarans - Cat Rose's I & II - who will be waiting to whisk you back to Praslin in as little as 15 minutes! All ferries arrive/depart from Praslin's ERO Passenger Terminal in Baie Ste. Anne, making it easy for passengers with an onward connection with the Cat Cocos ferry to Mahe. For those staying in Praslin, shuttle bus transfers to your accommodation are available upon arrival.

Passengers must arrive at the jetty (Baie Sainte Anne, Praslin or La Passe, La Digue) at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

The Cat Rose (Inter Island Ferry) Praslin office is located at the new ERO Passenger Terminal, which is situated on Kato Nwanr Island, Baie Ste. Anne, at the junction of the Vallee de Mai and Baie Ste Anne roads.
The Cat Rose (Inter Island Ferry) La Digue office is located in the Seychelles Port Building in La Passe - This is where you need to check in and present a printed copy of your e-ticket.

Simply take a printed copy* of your Seychellesbookings e-ticket to the Cat Rose (Inter Island Ferry) counter and exchange it for your Boarding Pass. Please note that only passengers with a Cat Rose (Inter Island Ferry) boarding pass will be permitted to board the vessel.

Cat Rose (Inter Island Ferry) will NOT accept digital copies of e-tickets displayed on mobile devices. A printed copy must be presented at check-in.

If you don't have access to a printer, you must at least be able to provide the check-in clerk with your BOOKING REFERENCE NUMBER and FULL NAME.
FAILURE TO PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION WILL RESULT IN BOARDING BEING DENIED WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF A REFUND!

Cat Rose Luggage Allowance

Each passenger is allowed to carry:
- 1 (One) small hand-held item of Carry-on/Cabin Baggage
- Up to 30kg of Accompanied/Checked Baggage, which should be of a reasonable size.

Any luggage deemed too large or exceeding the free baggage allowance will be subject to an excess fee.

Schedules are subject to change without notice. Therefore, it is recommended that passengers re-confirm their reservations 72 hours before departure.

Cat Rose Amendments

More than 48 hours before departure, you may modify your Cat Rose (Inter Island Ferry) booking at any time without penalty. Should a change in travel dates fall within a higher price period/season, you will only be charged the difference in fare.

Within 48 hours of departure, only one date/time change is permitted free of charge. Additional changes will be considered a cancellation and subject to a 100% cancellation fee. All date/time changes are subject to availability.

Cat Rose Cancellations

All Cat Rose (Inter Island Ferry) bookings cancelled more than 48 hours before departure (in writing) will receive a full refund, paid directly from Seychellesbookings.com (minus any charges applied to make the refund); administration and cancellation charges applied to all cancellations will be equivalent to 10% of the amount being refunded.

For cancellations within 48 hours of departure and No-Shows*, tickets are 100% non-refundable; one free date/time change may still be possible, subject to availability. Contact information can be found on your e-ticket.

Passengers travelling on the Inter Island ferry can now book affordable Shared Shuttle Bus Transfers between Praslin Jetty and Praslin Airport or any hotel on the island. Additionally, shared bus transfers are available between La Digue Jetty and La Digue Heliport or any hotel on La Digue.

To Praslin Airport

The shuttle bus leaves the jetty immediately after the ferry arrives, once all transferring passengers have collected their baggage.
Only book this service if your flight departs at least 2 hours after the scheduled ferry arrival time.

From Praslin Airport

Buses leave no later than 1 hour before the scheduled ferry departure time.

Cat Rose Port Fees

A Port Fee is charged for all trips from Praslin to La Digue and La Digue to Praslin.
The one-way fee, which only applies to Adults (i.e. passengers aged 12 years and over), is €1.00 per ticket. For roundtrips, the cost is simply doubled.
Port fees are already included in the Cat Rose Ferry ticket price.
